Collaborative Research UK Network for Chiropractic (CRUNCh)

Primary Researcher, Michelle Holmes PhD, is undertaking a CRC-funded study investigating the launch of a chiropractic Practice-Based Research Network (PBRN) within the UK. This will boost UK chiropractic research capacity, aid ‘big data’ collection and the implementation of research findings within the clinical setting. Aided by fellow researcher, PhD student Amy Miller, the researchers are currently conducting interviews to gain practising chiropractors’ perspectives on the benefits, challenges and realities of collecting data in practice. Amy said, ‘the recruitment for interviews is going really well. We’ve already completed some interviews with clinicians and have several more scheduled – and already there are some really interesting and useful views coming forward! We’ll be starting the early stages of analysis later on this autumn, and in the meantime would love to hear from any clinicians who wish to participate’.

Those clinicians wishing to take part should contact Amy Miller (amiller@aecc.ac.uk).
